The Cardiac Catheterization Interventional procedure is much like the Cardiac Catherization Diagnostic procedure; however, if a blockage were identified, an interventional procedure would be used to open the blocked artery. Cardiac Interventional procedures include Balloon Angioplasty, Stent placement, Rotablation or cutting balloon.
